Waterford Castle Hotel and Golf Club is uniquely situated on a private 310 acre Island, enjoying a truly picturesque and enchanting location of the surrounding River Suir and country side.
The mystical experience begins when guests arrive at the ferry to be taken across the water to another world. Passing through a stone archway you are greeted by an open log fire and beautiful Portland stone walls adorned with the original tapestries the family that lived here for over 500 years. If one looks closely enough you can see evidence of mounted spears and swords from times past.
The Munster Room, the main dining room creates a unique ambience amidst oak-panelled walls and an ornate 16th century ceiling. Our chef Michael Quinn combines fresh local produce with European influences in your personal selection of menus.
Guests enjoy exclusive use of the Castle with nineteen individually decorated bedrooms of distinct character and charm. Traditional fabrics and exquisite furnishings are featured in the 14 guestrooms and 5 suites.
