The primary goal of the Shakespeare Sessions is to help Junior Cert and Leaving Cert learners in their understanding of Shakespeare’s masterpieces.

The Symphony Club of Waterford are delighted to present The Band of the First Southern Brigade in Concert. No strangers to Waterford over the years, this elite band of musicians of the Defence Forces will perform a wide selection of music from the Overture to Maritana, Benny Goodman, great march favourites, vocal hits to a Musical Celebration for Australia Day which falls on the 26th Jan. Directed by Capt. Brian Prendergast this is a concert not to be missed.
La Bayadere Bolshoi Ballet Live screening (Sunday 27th of January 2013 – 27th of January 2013)
Another of the great ballets of the Russian tradition, La Bayadere (the Temple Dancer) is an exotic story of love and intrigue in India. Nikiya, a young temple dancer, swears her love to a young warrior. The High Brahmin wants Nikiya for himself and tells the all-powerful Rajah about the affair. The Rajah had decided that the warrior would marry his own daughter, so he makes a deadly intervention….
